I'll admit i'm pretty much a Linux n00b - used Suse 9.1 for about 2 months, before switching to Gentoo because its less user freindly [the logic behind that is that if i have more problems, i'll learn more about how to use linux while fixing the problems....i mean, you cant learn much when you've got Yast to do everything for you..]

Anyway, i'm trying to update my system [using emerge -uD world], and the following happens;

Code:
 Calculating world dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 116) app-text/docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.14 to /
>>> md5 files   ;-) docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.12-r2.ebuild

>>> md5 files   ;-) files/digest-docbook-sgml-utils-0.6.12-r2
