For some reason I am not able to set my vertical refresh rate in x.org. Here is my monitor section in my xorg.conf file. I added the VertRefresh option just like it said to do in The X Server Configuration HOWTO

Code:
Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "Monitor0"
        VendorName   "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName    "Monitor Model"
        VertReresh   30-85
        HorizSync     30-80
        Option       "DPMS" "true"
EndSection

I don't remeber the exact wording of the error message but it was something like "VerticalRefresh" is not valid in this section. Am I doing something wrong?

You're missing an 'f' in VertRefresh.
And maby try to find the proper settings for you monitor, check the vendors homepage for drivers. usually .inf files that you oculd mask out som parameters.

DOh I mispelled. I made the changes to this but now my monitor only reports a 70hz refresh rate

Code:
Section "Monitor"
        Identifier   "Monitor0"
        VendorName   "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName    "Monitor Model"
        VertRefresh   85
        HorizSync     30-80
        Option       "DPMS" "true"
EndSection

I already know it is supposed to have a refresh rate on 85hz at 1024x768 24bit so why is it set at 70hz?
