Hello everyone! Please, help me to discover what is happening with my webcamera. I have an Asus K95VJ laptop with built-in 0.3 Mpx Camera Chicony. I have an application based on Video4Linux2 that shows me all modes supported by camera.
Same thing could be done by call a following command;

Code:

lsusb -s 003:003 -v | egrep "Width|Height"

Most often calls shows that my camera support following modes:

Code:

Mode[0]: Motion-JPEG 640x480
Mode[1]: Motion-JPEG 352x288

And sometimes I can see these:

Code:

Mode[1]: YUYV 4:2:2 640x480
Mode[2]: YUYV 4:2:2 160x120
Mode[3]: YUYV 4:2:2 176x144
Mode[4]: YUYV 4:2:2 320x240
Mode[5]: YUYV 4:2:2 352x288
Mode[6]: YUYV 4:2:2 1280x720
Mode[7]: YUYV 4:2:2 640x480
Mode[8]: Motion-JPEG 640x480
Mode[9]: Motion-JPEG 160x120
Mode[10]: Motion-JPEG 176x144
Mode[11]: Motion-JPEG 320x240
Mode[12]: Motion-JPEG 352x288
Mode[13]: Motion-JPEG 1280x720
Mode[14]: Motion-JPEG 640x480

So what's wrong with this camera?

Thanks in advance

UPD: Probably the problem with BIOS or other hardware. lsusb output is not same each call (in condition that the system was rebooted)

Maybe a module issue. Is the output of "lsmod" the same in both cases?
