yes...like the topic.
then i start airmon.sh start wlan0 i'll get:

wlan0 Unknown ndiswrapper (MONITOR MODE NOT SUPPORTED)


as you can see im running ndiswrapper...could it be that you can't use monitor mode with ndiswrapper ?

or can I ?


I got a Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g.

please help.

You can't use monitor mode, as the windows drivers ndiswrapper uses don't support it.

(or another non proprietary driver) instead?

I doubt OP tried net-wireless/b43-fwcutter. It was only added to the tree 12 years and 10 months ago, in August 2007. This thread is from 2005.

I am curious to know whether OP still has and intends to use the hardware, given that it would now be at least 15 years old. :)

LOL, I didnt realize the post was that old. For some reason the thread popped up on the first page of "Networking & Security" and I answered without looking at the date.
