hi,
I select genkernel while installing gentoo,and now I want to remove all the unnecessary modules compiled by genkernel,is there any scripts that can do that?

you can try to have the minimalist configuration that supports the loaded modules with "make localmodconfig". But this is bare minimum and you need to check if you don't need modules for material or features that were not detected during the "make localmodconfig".

The manual approoach is to follow http://www.kernel-seeds.org/ for a base Gentoo kernel + the drivers at http://kmuto.jp/debian/hcl/index.rhtmlx

Both approaches need you to check everything the first time, and need to adjust the config if there are missing features or drivers.
