I tried adding data=writeback to my mount options in /etc/fstab but the root partition errored at boot and mounted read-only. It worked once I did:

Code:
tune2fs -o journal_data_writeback /dev/sda2

But -o pertains to mount options which should have equivalents in /etc/fstab. Is there an equivalent for the above for /etc/fstab?

The write back option is usually used during formatting the partition.
