I have a Bluetooth chip integrated in my laptop and recently started to try to have it working, without success so far.

Basically, it's as if the chip didn't exist at all for my gentoo. No trace of it in lsusb neither dmesg.
However, if I boot on an Ubuntu liveUSB, it is correctly detected, it works and I can see it in lsusb:
Code:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 8087:07da Intel Corp.

So I think it must be an issue with my kernel config, but I've spent hours trying to tweak it without success.
I'm quite out of ideas, given that all other USB devices both external and internal (including my webcam) work without any problem.

Would someone have any idea about that ?
My Wifi/Bluetooth card is an Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 2230, I'm running gentoo-sources-3.16.5, and my kernel .config is here: https://bpaste.net/show/a91ecf47ad79

@quilosaq : Yes, I was working with it. But I finally found what was missing.

All I needed was enable in menuconfig:

Code:
Device drivers -> X86 Platform Specific Device Drivers -> Toshiba Bluetooth RFKill switch support

I had not idea such an option existed until I realized the presence of "toshiba_bluetooth" lines in the dmesg of the Ubuntu liveUSB...
