Hi, appreciate some help here:

I run AMD64 system with nouveau enabled in kernel:

Code:

CONFIG_DRM_NOUVEAU=y
CONFIG_NOUVEAU_DEBUG=5
CONFIG_NOUVEAU_DEBUG_DEFAULT=3
CONFIG_DRM_NOUVEAU_BACKLIGHT=y

GPU is Geforce 8600, performance is decent.

However I can not get my display, that is DVI connected screen back to work after resume from sleep or disk is finished. I get black screen and not able to switch to VTY or X even computer is running and SSH works.

I also enabled vbe tool with no result

Code:

### vbetool
EnableVbetool yes
RestoreVbeStateFrom /var/lib/vbetool/vbestate
VbetoolPost yes
RestoreVCSAData yes

latest hibernate log:

Code:

what more i can check to get this working?

edit:

New kernel 3.17.7-gentoo #1 fixed the issue. Found solution here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-from-scratch-13/buggy-nouveau-driver-in-recent-kernels%3B-resume-from-hibernate-fails-4175524795/
