I completely annoyed by time stamp delays/deviations of 2 days and more.

I do wonder, which logger could be used instead.
What I do need, is a limited filter/regex capability to write iptables log messages to dedicated files according to the iptables log prefix.

looked at it - last mail/git/forum activity was from 2013 (which ofc could mean that it is rocking stable ....)
Anyway - switched back to stable syslog-ng in the mean while which seems not to suffer from such time stamp jumps.
