I am using the Wireless Desktop Padless 7200N complect of mouse and keyboard. The keyboard works fine. The mouse worked fine until the last month. Then it startedd very quickly to suspend ( a feature of the mouse in order to save energy, but made in the settings to wait for 10 minutes). I changed the battery and the problem was fixed. Very soon, the mouse started to make that problem again. I plugged it on a computer with Windows in order to see from the special A4TECH driver 16-in-1 what is the percentage of the battery. It was 100%. The next time, I plugged it into my Gentoo machine, the mouse did not work properly. The lelft and right click work, however the cursor does not move and the scroll makes nothing. I thought that it is problem of the linux driver, so I plugged into a Windows machine. There the same thing happened. I have not dropped the mouse or damaged her hardly.

For additional information: I have another Wireless mouse wiht usb transiever working properly.


Is the problem hardware, or I have mixed something in the software?

hardware problem.....
adressing register (driver) is missing...... you could use EVDEV to see more ;)
