Hi,

After changing kernel and rebooting it sets everything to read-only.
I wanted to implement firmware to kernel and cut off some options...

dmesg | grep sda:
Code:
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] 976773168 512-byte logical blocks: (500 GB/465 GiB)
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write Protect is off
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Mode Sense: 00 3a 00 00
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Write cache: enabled, read cache: enabled, doesn't support DPO or FUA
 sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 sda5
sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI disk
EXT4-fs (sda4): couldn't mount as ext3 due to feature incompatibilities
EXT4-fs (sda4): couldn't mount as ext2 due to feature incompatibilities
EXT4-fs (sda4): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)

There is no thing about mounting it with ro mode.

Any ideas?

Jozpod,

Root is correctly mounted read only at the outset.
Once rootfsck passes it gets remounted.
Code:
$ dmesg | grep dm-10
[    3.625076] EXT4-fs (dm-10): couldn't mount as ext3 due to feature incompatibilities
[    3.625484] EXT4-fs (dm-10): couldn't mount as ext2 due to feature incompatibilities
[    3.627141] EXT4-fs (dm-10): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)
[    8.587817] EXT4-fs (dm-10): re-mounted. Opts: discard
Thats my root.

Put all of your dmesg onto a pasetbin please.

Here is http://pastebin.com/n6TVnV61
I noticed that /boot is empty while being mounted...

Not quite solved, but i compared working config with faulty one and this is difference
Code:
-AFS_FS n
-CEPH_FS n
-CIFS n
-CODA_FS n
-EXPORTFS y
-I8253_LOCK y
-IP_MROUTE_MULTIPLE_TABLES n
-IP_PIMSM_V1 y
-IP_PIMSM_V2 y
-NCP_FS n
-NFSD n
-NFS_FS n
-PRINT_QUOTA_WARNING y
-QFMT_V1 n
-QFMT_V2 n
-QUOTACTL_COMPAT y
-QUOTA_DEBUG n
-QUOTA_NETLINK_INTERFACE n
-SND_PCSP n
 BASE_FULL y -> n
 BASE_SMALL 0 -> 1
 FHANDLE y -> n
 FILE_LOCKING y -> n
 FRAME_POINTER y -> n
 IP_MROUTE y -> n
 NETWORK_FILESYSTEMS y -> n
 NLS_CODEPAGE_852 n -> y
 PCSPKR_PLATFORM y -> n
 QUOTA y -> n
 QUOTACTL y -> n

Also I found a solution to make those pop-ups in dmesg disappear,
Code:
couldn't mount as ext3 due to feature incompatibilities
couldn't mount as ext2 due to feature incompatibilities

There is a setting to grub2 in /etc/default/grub
I simply put rootfstype=ext4 in GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT.
