I have created a bcache device consisting of an ssd and an hdd, I've set up automounted to autmount this drive for me.
I have been encountering some problems lately and I suspected the ssd might be the cuase of it, so I removed the ssd as the caching device.
unfortunately I'm still unable to mount bcache using the automounter or manually by issuing:
# mount /dev/bcache0 /mnt
the machine just hangs

I don't really care about the bcache structure as much as I care about the data on the devices.
it might be useful to mention this had all started happening when my laptop ran out of power and got switched off

thanks

now I'm getting:
ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.GFX0.DD02._BCL] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20140926/psargs-359)
ACPI Error: Method Parse/execution failed [\_sb_.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP.DD02._BCL] (Node dddd880321066d98), AE_NOT_FOUND (20140926/psparse-536)

and the machine is not booting

apparently removing that hard disk(which hopefully isn't faulty) had no effect, I still have my ssd plugged in and I'm getting the same error

booting into a different kernel fixed the problem, I'm still having problems with my bcache device for which I will create a new post.

thanks
