Hi there,

I'm trying to bootstrap on redhead linux. My system is as follows (according to "/proc/version"):

Linux version 2.6.32-431.11.2.el6.x86_64 (mockbuild@c6b8.bsys.dev.centos.org) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-4) (GCC) ) #1 SMP Tue Mar 25 19:59:55 UTC 2014

When I try to run bootstrap-prefix.sh it to fails in stage1, below is the tail of stage1.log. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks.

-bash-4.1$ tail ~/gentoo/stage1.log
/usr/bin/install -c -m 644 color.map.5 ebuild.5 make.conf.5 portage.5 '/import/crl-linhome/home/1/cw/gentoo/tmp/usr/share/man/man5'

Why do you want to install a stage1 tarball?

This is not supported.

Are you using root?

What filesystem are you using to build? Not NFS I hope?
