|I am unable to upgrade sqlite to any of the current ebuild versions: 2.8.16-r5, 22.214.171.124, 126.96.36.199. wget says that it cannot resolve the host address. I downloaded 188.8.131.52 from the sqlite repo and put it in /usr/portage/distfiles, but the ebuild still wants to fetch.
emerge -f "=dev-db/sqlite-184.108.40.206"
Calculating dependencies .... done!

I was able to resolve it by manually downloading from the link that wget was trying for; the link was good. I am updating a backup of my current build, which will then become the live system once complete. Looks like the problem was caused by a network configuration change while doing etc-update.
