After my previous laptop's death, I bought a macbook pro 13' 2015. I still want to use gentoo. So I entered the Linux environment via Ubuntu LiveCD by USB and I finished the kernel compilation and grub2 installation. Now I could enter Gentoo via grub2, but the wireless card still can't be recognized. I referred 2 guide, 1st is the amd64 installation guide and 2nd is the Apple Macbook pro Retina wiki.

At first, I tried to use the closed source.
I emerged the latest broadcom-sta-6.30.223.248-r4
But it doesn't work. so I decided to use open sources.
I unemerged the broadcom-sta, added the brcmfmac option in kernel and downloaded the brcmfmac43602-pcie.bin.
However, it still doesn't work. ifconfig found no wireless card. Here is the dmesg where it shows the error.
Code:
[    3.328899] wl: module license 'Mixed/Proprietary' taints kernel.

[    3.328902] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint

[    3.380005] wl driver 6.30.223.248 (r487574) failed with code 1

[    3.380008] [wl_cfg80211_detach()] in ndev=ffff880264169000: IEEE80211ptr=          (null)

I have already deleted the broadcom-sta-6.30.223.248-r4 and it seems that wl.ko still tried to load the closed-source driver.

Could anyone tell me what to do to make macbook work fine ? Thanks

I finally removed wl.ko by removing linux-sources (I forgot to remove it after removing broadcom-sta). But I still can't have broadcom 43602 driver. I don't see any drivers in lspci -k. I compile brcmfmac and brcmfmac43602-pcie.bin in linux-firmware. But it doesn't work. I don't know why.

Problem solved. It is some options that I didn't choose regarding to brcmfmac.
