I am trying to get my hdd activity lights working on a small backplane. It works with Fedora so I assume I am either missing a kernel option or a package. Does anyone have any idea?

would be helpful to know what exact hardware you have, LED lights tend to be nonstandard in terms of software interface...

Intel hardware but I think the problem is with the ssd. I noticed that the same class ssd doesn't light up on another computer.
Thanks
