I have read https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/GRUB2#Partitioning_for_BIOS_with_MBR. But I am trying something new. I want to install my system on a USB thumb drive. However, I cannot create GPT on this thumb drive. But I want the system to be able to boot from both UEFI and MBR environment.

I am thinking about setting my partition layout like this:

- 1 MB bios-gap I have tried and confirm it is not necessary
- 100 MB EFI System
- the rest of Linux

Do you think this gonna work?
