install-amd64-minimal-YYYYmmDD.iso Can't be written as efi bootable image.
I try to create bootable flash drive with DD, Unetbootin, rufus.
My motherboard GA-H81M-H support EFI, windows, arch, debian, ubuntu booting well.
Rufus can't write install-amd64-minimal-YYYYmmDD.iso to GPT partition scheme for UEFI.
Also gentoo-like SystemRescueCd writing to USB-drive and working well.

It's probably better to report this in the bug tracker https://bugs.gentoo.org/ than in the forum.

AMID_EVIL ... the 'minimal' cd images don't support efi booting ... use sysresccd, or any boot disk that supports efi, for install.

best ... khay
