So I have an HP Stream 11 laptop and I've enabled what I believe are the relevant kernel modules and booting up it tells me the VFS block couldn't be found. I've made sure that secure boot is disabled so that I don't have to worry about that. I've setup my stage and chrooted from the latest Ubuntu image from usb and it's able to see the /dev/mmcblk0 partitions okay (I'm using /dev/mmcblk0p3 with btrfs for my root fs). I've even gone as far as to copy the kernel config from Ubuntu but I've still had no luck. Checking dmesg from Ubuntu lists HS200 being utilized from mmc0 with the SDHC controller on ACPI with ADMA. I'm using Grub as the bootloader. I'm not exactly sure where or what could be causing it to not see the hardware. Any suggestions on where to go from here? I've attached the output of dmesg, lspci -k from the ubuntu usb able to access my eMMC memory and additionally my kernel config. If there's anything else I can let you know of, let me know.

dmesg from ubuntu live usb http://pastebin.com/1YP6jfqT
lspci -k output from ubuntu live usb http://pastebin.com/dXtXfk9d
my non-working kernel config http://pastebin.com/D2RGrqwB

Do you use an initramfs?
It might be that the rtsx_pci driver initializes too late. In that case, try the rootdelay=... or rootwait kernel parameters.
