|I've just done a clean reinstall of ~AMD64, and I'm trying to install hplip. Previously, it worked fine, but now it stalls when it can't find the correct ppd file.
I run hp-setup and it finds the networked printer, but complains that it can't find the correct ppd file. It gives this error:
error: No PPD found for model laserjet_400_mfp_m425 using old algorithm.
error: No appropriate print PPD file found for model hp_laserjet_400_mfp_m425dn
So I manually found the ppd file on the list, and tell it to proceed, but it fails with a this error:
error: Printer queue setup failed. Error : successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes
error: Fax queue setup failed. Error : successful-ok-ignored-or-substituted-attributes
I've tried both the Gentoo hplip package, and I even tried downloading the "manual" script from hp. Both were the same hplip versions (3.16.2), and both gave the same error.
Anybody got any suggestions?
