HI, everyone.
I'm stuck with this problem - I can't find intel RAPL in menuconfig.
I can find it using search:
Code:
Symbol: INTEL_RAPL [=n]                                                 │
  │ Type  : tristate                                                        │
  │ Prompt: Intel RAPL Support                                              │
  │   Location:                                                             │
  │     -> Device Drivers                                                   │
  │ (1)   -> Generic powercap sysfs driver (POWERCAP [=y])                  │
  │   Defined at drivers/powercap/Kconfig:18                                │
  │   Depends on: POWERCAP [=y] && X86 [=y] && IOSF_MBI [=n]

However, there is nothing in Generic powercap sysfs driver submenu.

When I manually add CONFIG_INTEL_RAPL=y to .config, it gets deleted as soon as execute make.
I checked the dependecies POWERCAP [=y] && X86 [=y] && IOSF_MBI [=n] and they are exactly as stated.

thanks for sharing your experiences and help.

This means the Intel RAPL Support (NEW) gets visible once you also enabled CONFIC_IOSF_MBI=y

BTW: Pressing the z key will unhide the unavailable options.
