Not sure if this is related to topic 1043708. My /var/log/messages is full of these strings repeating every few seconds.
Code:
Apr 27 17:10:45 morpheus kernel: usb 1-1.2: USB disconnect, device number 62
Apr 27 17:10:45 morpheus kernel: usb 1-1.2: new full-speed USB device number 63 using ehci-pci
Apr 27 17:10:45 morpheus kernel: usb 1-1.2: New USB device found, idVendor=08ff, idProduct=2580
Apr 27 17:10:45 morpheus kernel: usb 1-1.2: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=1, SerialNumber=0
Apr 27 17:10:45 morpheus kernel: usb 1-1.2: Product: Fingerprint Sensor
Apr 27 17:10:44 morpheus mtp-probe[12263]: checking bus 1, device 63: "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb1/1-1/1-1.2"
Apr 27 17:10:44 morpheus mtp-probe[12263]: bus: 1, device: 63 was not an MTP device

Actually I've never used that fingerprint reader and I don't need it.
Is there some way to stop this frequent disconnecting? Or maybe to completely deactivating that device via eudev rules?

Here is udevadm info -a -p /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1.2 and udevadm test /sys/bus/usb/devices/1-1.2.
