Hello.

$ emerge gentoo-sources
$ cd /usr/src/linux

After this, "There is no such file or directory." That you will receive an error message.

Against this problem,
Do you have any countermeasures.

when you emerge a kernel it should goes into /usr/src/kernel-version
there's an use flag to autoset your kernel to use as the latest install one (USE="symlink" emerge...), but if you didn't have set it, eselect is the tool you need.
Code:
eselect kernel list

Hello.
I was successful for the first time in the installation of Gentoo Linux.
So, and how should I install additional software, I believe.
For example, chromium, thunderbird, how do I install.
Or, first of all do you install the desktop environment.
Desktop environment, we want to introduce a "Xfce".
From now on is, what do I.
When you give advice, you very helpful.

Hello.
When I install Gentoo Linux, forgot to run the following command.
root # cp /mnt/gentoo/usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf /mnt/gentoo/etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf
It will not be able to create a /etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf file.
What there is a workaround that I can do.
Thank you.

As explain on wiki gentoo.conf file can be found in /usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf .

# cat /usr/share/potage/config/repos.conf
[DEFAULT]
main-repo = gentoo

[gentoo]
location = /usr/portage
sync-type = rsync
sync-uri = rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage
auto-sync = yes

# for daily squashfs snapshots
#sync-type = squashdelta
#sync-uri = mirror://gentoo/../snapshots/squashfs

Do you copy this file.
Or do we want to put in the "nano".

/etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf
How to create the above files do not know.
Thank you for your professor.

Copy it - make the directory if it doesn't exist ie
Code:
# mkdir /etc/portage/repos.conf

then
Code:
# cp /usr/share/portage/config/repos.conf /etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf
