Hello,
I looking help on grub configuration

Code:

## fdisk -l
Device     Start        End    Sectors   Size Type
/dev/sda1     34       4095       4062     2M BIOS boot
/dev/sda2   4096 1953101823 1953097728 931.3G EFI System

On sda2 create vg0 and LVM's like : root (/dev/vg0/root) and swap (/dev/vg0/swap)
the system has been installed (initially) on LVM root (/dev/mapper/vg0-root)

Code:

### [pxe] ~:> mount  |grep gentoo
/dev/mapper/vg0-root on /mnt/gentoo type ext4 (rw,relatime,user_xattr,barrier=1,data=ordered)
proc on /mnt/gentoo/proc type proc (rw,relatime)
sysfs on /mnt/gentoo/sys type sysfs (rw,nosuid, nodev, noexec, relatime)
devtmpfs on /mnt/gentoo/dev type devtmpfs (rw,relatime,size=10240k,nr_inodes=999959,mode=755)
devpts on /mnt/gentoo/dev/pts type devpts (rw,nosuid,noexec,relatime,gid=5,mode=620,ptmxmode=000)

Code:

### [pxe] ~:> df
Filesystem           1K-blocks     Used Available Use% Mounted on
[....]
/dev/mapper/vg0-root  51606140 11014808  37969892  23% /mnt/gentoo
devtmpfs                 10240        0     10240   0% /mnt/gentoo/dev

### [pxe] ~:> ls /mnt/gentoo/
bin   dev  home  lib32  media  opt   resolv.conf  run   sys  usr
boot  etc  lib   lib64  mnt    proc  root         sbin  tmp  var

at the end of the whole configuration is trying to run the installation grub Unfortunately, it ends in failure like:
Code:
#### grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot
Installing for x86_64-efi platform.
/run/lvm/lvmetad.socket: connect failed: No such file or directory
WARNING: Failed to connect to lvmetad. Falling back to internal scanning.
/run/lvm/lvmetad.socket: connect failed: No such file or directory
grub-install: error: /boot doesn't look like an EFI partition.

or if trying

Code:
#### grub-install /dev/sda
grub-install: error: /usr/lib/grub/i386-pc/modinfo.sh doesn't exist. Please specify --target or --directory.

I don't know how to force grub to install boot configuration.. all configuration done with the manual: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Installation/

My fstab
Code:

/dev/mapper/vg0-root      /      ext4    defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/mapper/vg0-swap      none      swap      sw              0 0

little debug of grub-install ((chroot) pxe / # grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id=grub --recheck --debug) -> http://pastebin.com/Qa972iDf

can anyone suggest how to do this?
