in teams that I follow the instructions, just do not remember, just remember some

Then run these two commands...
tar cvf - -C /dev/ . | tar xvf - -C /mnt/gentoo/dev/
tar cvf - -C /etc/ . | tar xvf - -C /mnt/gentoo/etc/

issuing the command to mount it is not finding the folder but every time I follow the instructions for installation. shall describe in stages how to install it and mark right hard drive

You say you are a beginner ... you should install Gentoo instead of messing with liveDVD.

The livedvd is not meant to be a way to get a Gentoo desktop up by copying the packages included in it and modifying to your needs. The livedvd is meant as a way for new or potential users to have a full blown desktop environment with lots of support for wireless drivers, filesystems (ZFS etc), sata drivers, usb etc.

Instead users should follow the official install guide located at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:Main_Page. Please do not install the livedvd to a hard drive, it is simply pointless and goes against the whole Gentoo way of having a system you setup on your own which is unique to other systems out there.

Gentoo gives you choice, so don't waste it by treating it like a binary distribution ;)

Thank you so much for your helpful advice! I was going down the same root. I was following the Handbook but I had been used to Linux Mint. Now I am installing using a minimal iso things seem to be going just fine and I am so enjoying learning Linux from the inside. :D
