Hey,there is ^ a trouble in my KVM VM,kernel setting set as there https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/QEMU/Linux_guest ,eth0 is working nicely, seems nothing unusual in /etc/conf.d,but /etc/init.d does not have eth0.

How can i configure network settings, maybe smt lost,is it normal that dont have /etc/conf.d/net?

Please follow this : https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Installation/System

From the topic "Configuring the network" . It explains that you have to create /etc/conf.d/net and also explains what to fill in.

djdkf343,

If /etc/conf.d/net does not exist, openrc will run dhcpcd on interfaces that it brings up.
If dhcpcd is not installed, it tries some fallbacks, including busybox.

When you don't like what the automatics do, create /etc/conf.d/net and fine tune the settings.
