Hi everyone,
First, sorry for my english and my noobs questions...

I tried to install Gentoo with a tutorial but when i tried to config my genkernel. He said me this.
Quote:
* Linux Kernel 4.4.26-gentoo for x86...
* .. with config file /usr/share/genkernel/arch/x86/generated-config
mount: le périphérique spécial /dev/BOOT doesn't exist
* WARNING: Failed to mount /boot!

But, the only one /boot i know is the /boot on my USB. So, i have change my /etc/fstab like this :
/dev/sdb1(myUsb, before, it's was BOOT) /boot ext2 noauto,noatime 1 2

Now, genkernel say me, /dev/sdb1 is already mount or he is occuped.

I thought I needed a another boot partition (I suppose the /BOOT on my fstab), but i didn't what type is. This is my partitions :

Quote:
/dev/sda1 2048 104859647 104857600 50G Linux Root (x86)
/dev/sda2 104859648 167774207 62914560 30G Linux home
/dev/sda3 167774208 171968511 4194304 2G Linux swap

Someone can help me pls ?

Lhymna,

Welcome to Gentoo.

/dev/BOOT is a placeholder in /etc/fstab. The word BOOT needs to be replaced with whatever your boot is. sd..
Its here that grub looks to find your boot.

You will also have the placeholders ROOT and SWAP fix those too.

As you appear to not have a separate boot partition, remove the the /dev/BOOT line. In your case its not needed at all.
