or 4.9.x.

Because of my ethernet atheros e0b1 which is not supported with alx.ko in kernel 4.4.x I am searching for a minimal installation iso for amd64 no-multilib with a newer kernel. Does anyone knows where to find ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. But it is with kernel 4.4.

I tried ubuntu 16.10 server (with kernel 4.8.x), but there is no lynx for downloading (or scp for copying from this pc to the new one). Ubuntu 16.10 desktop I cant burn (I have no dvd-, only cd-burner).

Kernels provided on SystemRescueCd-4.9.x

standard-kernels: (rescue32 and rescue64)
  • this kernel is based on the Long-Term-Supported linux-4.4 kernel with fedora changes and the SystemRescueCd patchset
  • the two kernel images are rescue32 (32bit) and rescue64 (64bit)
  • you should use the default kernel if you have no particular problem with it
alternative-kernels: (altker32 and altker64)
  • this kernel is based on the stable linux-4.9 kernel with fedora changes and the SystemRescueCd patchset
  • the two kernel images are altker32 (32bit) and altker64 (64bit)
  • you should use the alternative kernel only if you need recent drivers of features that are not in the standard kernel

subj
I'm looking for livecd (minimal) with 4.8.* kernel. The 4.9 are not suitable, because there's broken driver for ASIX usb to ethernet adapter, and so I can't set-up network at the first step.
And it must be hybrid iso, because I need boot from USB (no cdrom there).
Is there some archived versions of install-amd64-minimal?

Thanks. I've found install-amd64-minimal-20161020.iso.
Sysrcd is good, but has some differences in environment variable comparing to gentoo minimal.
