It's a very new installation, after set the profile as Systemd/Plasma When I run

First you are going to need to choose between init systems, using a managed option like systemd vs openRC (scripts based). If you are going with systemd the blockage when updating could have stemmed from that use flag in global settings, or another package specific one.

Please check your global use flag settings in /etc/portage/make.conf, and if you remove the previously installed openrc package should do it. You only need to have one init system and either one, could work.

Start by checking the global use flag settings in make.conf, and post the output of emerge --info. That would make helping much easier.

Referencing the Wiki may be helpful. I suspect you have udev in your world file and that is causing your grief. Run emerge --deselect sys-fs/udev to fix this.

A more general approach is to see why openrc is being pulled. equery from the gentoolkit is perfect for this. Run equery d sys-apps/openrc to see what is pulling it.

Apologies if I take a while to respond. I'm currently working on the dematerialization circuit for my blue box.
