I want connect to computer a USB reader with this Micro SD: https://www.gearbest.com/memory-cards/pp_279099.html?admitad_uid=e1d6759bc0631d9bb33da0fd85d566cf&utm_source=admitad&utm_content=262831
But file manager complains: 'Error mounting /dev/sdc1... unknown file system type 'exFAT'
Please advise what config changes need to do in kernel or any other installation...

Hi,

the error message is about the filesystem support. Did you enable exFAT support?

Do you need exFAT? You can reformat it in any filesystem you want.

At the moment I need to backup this Micro SD, so need to use exFAT.
In kernel it was enabled, so I just installed the required packages according fedeliallalinea wiki's link and now it is ok
