But when I run

I have the following output of

Code:
emerge grub

Code:
* Error: The above package list contains packages which cannot be

For more information about Blocked Packages, please refer to the following
section of the Gentoo Linux x86 Handbook (architecture is irrelevant):

https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:X86/Working/Portage#Blocked_packages

!!! The following installed packages are masked:
- sys-fs/eudev-3.2.5::gentoo (masked by: package.mask)
/usr/portage/profiles/targets/systemd/package.mask:
# Pacho Ramos <pacho@gentoo.org> (21 Apr 2015)
# This is for running sys-apps/systemd and also helps
# portage to not try to pull in other providers leading to
# strange blockers.

For more information, see the MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge
man page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

See gentoo wiki https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Handbook:AMD64/Installation/Bootloader

To install grub when installing gentoo:
Download (Pulls in required packages for UEFI):
Code:
emerge --ask sys-boot/grub:2

Mount efi partition
Create efi directory for installation:
Code:
mkdir -p /mnt/gentoo/boot/efi

Locate efi system partition and / partition:
Code:
lsblk -f

or
Code:
fdisk -l

Mount efi system partition to gentoo installation (most likely /dev/sda1)
Code:
mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/gentoo/boot/efi

Mount gentoo root partition:
Code:
mount /devsdXX /mnt/gentoo

Remount efivars with read and write permissions to avoid the "Could not delete variable: Read-only" error:

Code:
mount -o remount,rw /sys/firmware/efi/efivars

Install grub:
Code:
grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot/efi

Configure:

Code:
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Exit change root:
Code:
exit
