Greetings,

My laptop started loading the virtualbox modules vboxdrv, vboxnetadp, vboxnetflt and vboxpci automatically, probably after an upgrade of virtualbox.
These modules are not specified in /etc/conf.d/modules.

kernel version: 4.9.95-gentoo
virtualbox version: 5.1.36

lsmod:
Code:
Module                  Size  Used by
vboxpci                14318  0
vboxnetadp             18502  0
vboxnetflt             16516  0
vboxdrv               359680  3 vboxnetadp,vboxnetflt,vboxpci
iwlmvm                253450  0
iwlwifi               176379  1 iwlmvm
x86_pkg_temp_thermal     5317  0

dmesg:
https://paste.pound-python.org/show/Q32LMSqwQFcSZJLLw0mK/

/var/log/messages:
https://paste.pound-python.org/show/63deWz1miLhP7cszpnwb/

I want to debug a problem and somebody mentioned external kernel modules might be the culprit.

Thanks for your help.

Modules are loaded because ebuild put a file in /usr/lib/modules-load.d/virtualbox.conf with content
Code:
vboxnetflt
vboxnetadp
vboxdrv
vboxpci

Thank you fedeliallalinea, I wasn't aware that this folder exists.
