Hello.
How best to split a disc with an offset?
Code:
my disk 256 ГБ SSD M.2 Intel 760p Series [SSDPEKKW256G801]

On this disk is already installed windows 10 system.
The disk is roughly broken in half.
90 gig under windows, I'm going to do the rest under Gentoo.
The question arose as to how best to place a place for Gentoo.
I read that with the offset you need to format it or on new disks you do not need to do this?

Correctly, I understand that in order to support this drive, I need to enable the function in the kernel?
Code:
Device Drivers  --->
  <*> NVM Express block device

That's what drives mine:

Code:
3d:00.0 Non-Volatile memory controller: Toshiba America Info Systems XG4 NVMe SSD Controller (rev 01)
   Subsystem: Toshiba America Info Systems XG4 NVMe SSD Controller
   Kernel driver in use: nvme

Code:
CONFIG_NVME_CORE=y
CONFIG_BLK_DEV_NVME=y

I believe the block device selects the core.
