Hello,
i try to install gentoo amd64 on my notebook as multiboot on unused space besides Windows 10.

I mounted my EFI boot partition with mount
/dev/sda2 /boot

and i compiled my kernel with make && make modules_install.

When i try to run "make install" i get following error:

sh ./arch/x86/boot/install.sh 4.14.65-gentoo arch/x86/boot/bzImage \
System.map "/boot"

Does anyone know some solution? I dont get it...

cheers

Hi wekael,

Welcome to Gentoo! :)

That's not an error as far as I can see. Didn't a kernel image end up in /boot?
