|Anyone seen any problems dealing with 4.14.x hibernation/suspend to disk?
I just tried to hibernate with 4.14.78 and 4.14.65, neither hibernate properly. They appear to go through the motions, blank out the screen, but never writes the image, whether through xfce4 or echo 'disk' > /sys/power/state ...
I tried to hibernate on 4.4.39 ... works flawlessly with the same userspace. So I'm leaning to a kernel issue?
Hardware is a x86 laptop (Dell 600m). Might be something obvious or some API thing I need to change and it'd work again but no idea what it is...
Resume from suspend to RAM (S3) also fails on 4.14.78.... at least it gets put to sleep mode...
Vanilla 4.19.1 fails to hibernate as well. Same problem as 4.14.78.
Vanilla 4.4.163 hibernation and suspend to RAM works just like 4.4.39 ... will need to do a binary search for the failing kernel between 4.5.0 and 4.14.52...
My x86 eeePC works with hibernate on 4.14.65 -- weird! Some discrepancy here...
