Loadable modules can be defined in the /etc/conf.d/modules file in order to load them during the init process.

As example of /etc/conf.d/modules:
Code:

modules="i8k"
module_i8k_args="force=1"

Hope it works.

Try to run it with
Code:
./dell-bios-fan-control 0

The shell is looking for the program in the PATH, and the current directory is not in there by default, so you must specify the full path.
