Hello there; i ém installing gentoo on the IBM system X 3650 server.

So far i have a bootabel cd. I found out it works with lvm :
with the commands lvchange -ay and lvdisplay the root partition can be mounted.

I Compiled the kernel. The system has a centos on it so i add this lines to grub (version01 unfortunately.)

Code:
title gentoo (4.19.27-gentoo-r1)
        root (hd0,0)
        kernel /vmlinuz-4.19.27-gentoo-r1 rw root=/dev/mapper/vg_ibmxeon/lv_home rd_NO_LUKS rd_LVM_LV=vg_ibmxeon/lv_home LANG=nl_NL.UTF-8 SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 rd_LVM_LV=vg_ibmxeon/lv_swap KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=be-latin1 rn_NO_DM crashkernel=64M rd_NO_LUKS rn_NO_MD

gentoo is on /dev/mapper/vg_ibmxeon-lv_home rd cause at the moment i don't want to remove centos till gentoo is operational.

https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E37670_01/E41138/html/ol_kbopt.html
rd_NO_LUKS Disables detection of an encrypted LUKS partition.
rn_NO_MD: Disables Multiple Device (MD) RAID detection.
rn_NO_DM Disables Device-Mapper (DM) RAID detection.

When i boot i get a kernel panic. How can i see what 's going wrong( i can't read that fast)

fstab:
Code:
/dev/sda1   /boot       ext4    default,noatime     0 2
/dev/vg_ibmxeon/lv_swap   none        swap    sw                   0 0
/dev/vg_ibmceon/lv_home   /           ext4    noatime              0 1

Code:
Model: ServeRA fiscotax (scsi)
Schijf /dev/sda: 293GB
Sectorgrootte (logisch/fysiek): 512B/512B
Partitietabel: msdos
Schijfvlaggen:

Nummer  Begin   Einde  Grootte  Type     Bestandssysteem  Vlaggen
 1      1049kB  525MB  524MB    primary  ext4             opstart
 2      525MB   293GB  293GB    primary                   lvm

cat /usr/src/linux/.config | wgetpaste --verbose
Pasting > 25 kB often tend to fail with dpaste. Use --verbose or --debug to see the
error output from wget if it fails. Alternatively use another pastebin service.

With shift+pgup you should be able to scroll back?

Maybe another primitive workaround might be to press the "scroll lock" key before that the messages start scrolling (to initially freeze the scrolling) and then keep on pressing it twice quickly to see additional blocks of messages?

this scroll lock is a good idea; but the button doesn't seem to work.

I 'll recompile the kernel with all harddrive drivers in the kernel
