I use a LUKS encrypted external hard drive to back up my box. I haven't had any problems to date accessing it but recently when I try to mount, it will prompt me for the password as usual then kicks out the following error:

Quote:
An error occurred while accessing '799.8 GiB Encrypted Drive', the system responded: An unspecified error has occurred: No such interface “org.freedesktop.UDisks2.Filesystem” on object at path /org/freedesktop/UDisks2/block_devices/dm_2d5

Google Sensei has been unhelpful. Any ideas? Really need to back up. My machine has been acting wonky so a little nervous.

Try decrypting and mounting your external hard disk manually:
Code:
cryptsetup luksOpen /dev/sdxn abc
mount /dev/mapper/abc /mnt/xyz

Of course replace "/dev/sdxn", "abc" and "/mnt/xyz" with the right names.
