Hello everyone, I updated to kernel 4.19.66 yesterday and have had to roll back to 4.19.57; upon booting, 4.19.66 does not recognize my keyboard, or for some other reason my keyboard is inoperable. It lights up and appears to receive power as normal, but the system is completely unresponsive to keyboard input and I need to manually reboot in order to access a previous kernel.

The keyboard is a Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2016 and has worked with xHCI enabled in the kernel since I installed Gentoo in April. Does anyone have any tips? I rechecked the new kernel and haven't seen any new xHCI options to toggle.

Are you sure that you compiled your kernel 4.19.66 with exactly the same kernel configuration as 4.19.57?

Furthermore, are the same modules loaded after you booted from 4.19.66?

Please double-check that.

There were changes in kernel between 4.19.57 and 4.19.66 also causing other trouble, see topic 1100668.
