Hi all,

I recently got a Lenovo thinkpad X1 carbon extreme gen2. Unfortunately, given how new this laptop is, I expected that there was gonna be some problems setting this up.
After some painful hours of kernel configuring I've managed to create a bootable system. However, my computer is unable to recognize any usb or sd card. I think I have all
the right kernel config commands loaded, but I'm still a pretty big noob at all this. Would really appreciate if someone can take a look my config an help me out.

Here is the output of lspci -v

http://codepad.org/8ns5yMXK

Here is my kernel config

http://codepad.org/6Q8SZCXl

Best,
zamlz

Oh weird, I checked them after I posted them and they were live. Not sure what happened but I'll update them right now.

EDIT: Updated

My config for a similar card reader is
Code:
CONFIG_MMC=m
CONFIG_MMC_BLOCK=m
CONFIG_MMC_BLOCK_MINORS=8
CONFIG_MMC_REALTEK_PCI=m
CONFIG_MMC_CQHCI=m
CONFIG_MISC_RTSX=m
CONFIG_MISC_RTSX_PCI=m

THANKS! It was
Code:
CONFIG_MMC_REALTEK_PCI
that wasn't set. I had the USB one set but not this. Nice Catch!
