Realistically, it's nothing more than censure to be determined by the House of Representatives.

But a 2/3 Senate majority can (after that) decide to remove him from office.

@wswartzendruber you are not aware what these constitutional procedures of impeachment are destined for?
Supreme Court 1953 wrote:
It is the proper duty of a representative body to look diligently into every affair of government and to talk much about what it sees. It is meant to be the eyes and the voice, and to embody the wisdom and will of its constituents. Unless Congress have and use every means of acquainting itself with the acts and the disposition of the administrative agents of the government, the country must be helpless to learn how it is being served; and unless Congress both scrutinize these things and sift them by every form of discussion, the country must remain in embarrassing, crippling ignorance of the very affairs which it is most important that it should understand and direct. The informing function of Congress should be preferred even to its legislative function.
... more important than legislature of Congress is the inquery!

It is obvious that Turkey is an European "problem," not US. So you Europeans, you need to solve your own problems for once, and quit dragging the US into your squabbles. You people are too willing to fight to the last American. There are already far too many US graves on your continent.

For me it's not about blaming anyone. People are great, just the govs making great people die for other people's own reason I care about.

so why was the US Army present there? Also this is not a local problem as the war for oil is a global one. Fortunately there is also a peaceful solution. Switch the technology from combusting fossil corpses to something more effective and clean. Decline transport in favor of local production. Finally oil will be less important. The middle east too. And little Greta will be happy. You don't want to make little Greta sad Old School want you?

Barack Husein Obama and his "line in the sand."
You remember him. The Nobel Peace Prize winner that never saw a country he wasn't willing to bomb.

I think little Greta is already quite miserable. I would not want to make her more. I would like to convince her that we live in fantastic times. That human kind is innovative and adaptable to change.

You're the one that asked the question why the US Army was present in Syria. I'm sorry if you don't like the answer.

Where do you get the 18 years. Eisenhower warned of the military/industrial complex in the early 1960s, and Europeans have been willing to fight to the last American for longer than that.

You lack perspective.

thank you. it is getting late and will have to read it tomorrow but this sounds promising:

Quote:
As we peer into society's future, we -- you and I, and our government -- must avoid the impulse to live only for today, plundering for, for our own ease and convenience, the precious resources of tomorrow.
i thing Great would would approve with this.

After the third betrayal of the Kurds by the U.S.
1. 1919 in Versailles by Wodrow Wilson who promised a country Kurdistan
2. 1991 after the first Iraq war by Bush Senior when Saddam nerve gased
3. 2019 by Trump who did not cover in the north when the Kurds fought the IS in the south-eastern areas.

The Kurds lean on Assad again. He is sending his troops and iranian advisors to Kobane. Iran wants to upgrade any new location against the U.S. They can take new positions near the Syria/Iraq border.

Normally Trump does nothing against interests of Israel what could strengthen Iran in Syria and Lebanon. Erdogan had investigated a year long the Khashoggi murder of the Saudi government. Perhaps he has intelligence about Kushner regarding Bin Salman ... something Erdogan has in his hands against Trump. Don't believe what Trump tells now about troops in foreign countries he wants to return! Trump doesn't want to foster Iran, but why he does?
