|Since long the gentoo-sources patch set brings an alteration:
which includes into /usr/src/linux/include/uapi/linux/xattr.h
/* User namespace */
#define XATTR_PAX_PREFIX XATTR_USER_PREFIX "pax."
#define XATTR_PAX_FLAGS_SUFFIX "flags"
#define XATTR_NAME_PAX_FLAGS XATTR_PAX_PREFIX XATTR_PAX_FLAGS_SUFFIX
But when you emerge sys-kernel/linux-headers
a vanilla kernel source is used without patching to generate the headers. Thus this addition cannot land in any user space application! Is this intended ?
I tried to ask my question in a new bug but the bug wrangler didn't understand. (I must admit I didn't explain what my question is.)
