|I've been having lots of emerge -DNuq @world issues on my four machines.
They are mostly related to python 2.7 going away. I really wish there was a way to prevent any packages from dropping 2.7 until all packages have dropped 2.7...
However, I hit one problem with doxygen that might be a portage bug, or -- as is usually the case -- operator error.
When emerging wxpython I got an error that doxygen couldn't find libclang.so.8 (or something like that).
The issue turned out to be emerge --depclean removed clang 8.0 because clang 9.0 was installed, but at least one of the packages linked with clang 8.0 was not rebuilt.
To fix the issue, I just emerged doxygen.
Is there a way to make portage do that?
Some day there will only be free software.
