There are 2 audio cards - built-in and audio output via Nvidia HDMI.
Everything worked fine, but I turned on CONFIG_SND_HDA_CODEC_HDMI in the kernel.
After rebooting or exiting sleep mode, the cards are determined as:
Code:
$ /usr/bin/pactl list short sinks
0   alsa_output.pci-0000_09_00.1.hdmi-stereo   module-alsa-card.c   s16le 2-канальный 4410   IDLE
1   alsa_output.pci-0000_0b_00.3.analog-stereo   module-alsa-card.c   s16le 2-канальный 4410   IDLE

next time as:
Code:
$ /usr/bin/pactl list short sinks
1   alsa_output.pci-0000_0b_00.3.analog-stereo   module-alsa-card.c   s16le 2-канальный 4410   IDLE
4   alsa_output.pci-0000_09_00.1.hdmi-stereo-extra1   module-alsa-card.c   s16le 2-канальный 4410   IDLE

Accordingly, the selected device for playback in different programs is incorrect, the default audio card is changed.

In pavucontrol, the output device is either the TU116 High Definition Audio Controller Digital Stereo (HDMI), or the same, but at the end of HDMI2.

What is the reason that the sound through HDMI goes through alsa_output.pci-0000_09_00.1.hdmi-stereo-extra1, and next time alsa_output.pci-0000_09_00.1.hdmi-stereo?

Do I need the enabled CONFIG_SND_HDA_CODEC_HDMI option in the kernel when using the Nvidia proprietary driver?
