If I enable HFS+ Read & Write in my BenH 2.6.x Kernel will I be able to mount just HFS+ or HFS+ (Journaled) also?

Panther's default file system is HFS+ (Journaled) and I was told the journaling is implemented transparently on top of HFS+.

Has anyone here mounted and read / written to a HFS+ (Journaled) partition?

I have been able to write to a panther (hfsplus) partition, but, for some reason, after a week, it started telling me the panther partition was read-only :(

dunno why...

stay cool

Hang on, how do you enable HFS+ in the kernel? I looked everywhere and I couldn't find it.

HFS+ (Journaled) works here for both read and write with kernel 2.4.22-r3 benh.
Code:
mount -t hfsplus

I was able to mount the hfsplus partition like that, but for some reason, after a week or something, I was no longer able to write on the partition :X

Yeah, i found it now. I think its cuz last install I was trying to do it from stage 3 off the 1.2 cd. Now I'm compiling my kernel (with HFS+ installed) from stage 1 on the 1.4 cd. Annoying thing is I dropped the partition on my HFS+ to put it down to HFS (oldworld G3)

Thank you though!
