What is the correct way to burn the iso using 10.3 Panther. And what is a checksum and how do I check it

You can burn ISOs through the command line. Open a terminal and type in
Code:
hdiutils burn <PATH TO ISO>
Make sure you've got a CD-R/RW in your drive and you should be good to go.

That's how I burned the Gentoo, NetBSD and ROCK Linux ISOs I downloaded.
