I could not emulate the right and the middle buttons on my powerBook G4

When I am under enlightenment, ctrl click emulate the right button, but on ROX or on fluxbox, I have nothing.

What I have to do in order to emulate the right and the middle buttons, so I could run ROX and Fluxbox.

Thank tou for your help

Phil

echo "1" > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/mouse_button_emulation
echo "87" > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/mouse_button2_keycode # F11
echo "88" > /proc/sys/dev/mac_hid/mouse_button3_keycode # F12

will make F11 middle click and F12 right click

I normally use 101 and 96
which is the enter by the arrows and then FN+enter

You probably need to enable it in the kernel:
Check .config for
Code:

CONFIG_MAC_ENUMOUSEBTN=y

In 2.6 kernel menuconfig it's at
Code:

Device Drivers
   Macintosh Device Drivers
[*] Support for ADB input devices
[*]     Support for mouse button 2+3 emulation

Oh yes, thanks!

(That's strange that it is a submenu of ADB input devices)

Not at all. Internally, both your keyboard and touchpad are hooked up to an ADB bus. So they are ADB input devices. Use lsadb to find out more about your ADB devices (lsadb-0.1.2.ebuild)
