I just ran across something with fcron that might be useful to someone having this problem.
If for some reason you as user try to edit your fcrontab and says it can't remove the /tmp/filename.
Copy your fcrontab, then run: fcrontab -r
to remove your fcrontab.
Then start: fcrontab -e
as the user, then paste your jobs in there again. And save and exit.
Should work and not get the error again.
