I am running the 2.6.3.something kernel and have patched the orinoco drivers. I have set up kismet ok. When i run kismet as root, it works fine. But when i run kismet as the user set for sudiuser in kismet.conf, i get this error:

i have the setuiduse set up fine but it still doesnt work. anybody know what to do?

I used kismet for long time on my old pentium3 laptop and I've never been able to use it as normal user... :(
I think that normal users don't have some privileges upon wi-fi devices
