i have the problem that everytime my computer boots up, or caches the system dependancies it comes up with about 30 or 40 errors, all the same.... it says that /etc/init.d/depcache cannot execute the command '#'

this makes complete sense, because that is a comment,

but the problem is that it WANTS to execute these specific commands..... i figured out that all the errors are the second line of every file in /etc/init.d, but i dont know why depcache want to access them.... there are other comments, but it specifically targets the commnets on the SECOND LINE, always......

why wwould it do this, isnt it suppsed to ignore comments... thats the point o a comment.....

i dont exactly want to move every single line down one to ignore this, i figured that there must be a more efficiant way to stop it from terying to get there in the first place....
